I ordered a medium rare steak but unfortunately it was more medium. Another steak was cooked but this time it was blue, but I did take it home with me and cooked it the following day.

Often pop for lunch this time was an event foe Christmas. A Rod Stewart tribute evening... with 2 coarse meal ... lovely and the staff are so helpful ... food large portions

Never stayed here however I've eaten here a number of times and the food is always brilliant.
Really nice place, reasonably priced and very friendly staff.

Usually meet there once a month 12 men all old workmates. Always comes up to scratch. They also take Blue light card(result)👍👍

I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese. It didn't look like Bolognese usually looks & after a couple of mouthfuls it tasted strange. It was burning my mouth & I thought it was chilli con carne. I mentioned it to the waitress who checked & apologised that the two dishes had been muddled up. I was asked if I wanted something else & that I wouldn't be charged for a meal or dessert. I didn't fancy a different meal, but had some ice cream.
The thing is I can't eat hot or spicy food & the small amount I had was enough to upset my stomach to the extent that I spent the whole night being ill both ends. Two days later I still don't feel well.

Excellent location, with attentive staff, The Wedding we attended went smoothly without an issues. Great team effort.

The Food was pretty good, staff were helpful (if a little slow)
The Raspberry Sorbet wasn't much to write home about especially as it was Lemon!

We were welcomed on arrival by friendly staff. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Food was freshly cooked, delicious and had plenty of choice. Lovely facilities, we had a lovely time there.

We went there on a nice sunny day with the kids. We were there for a few hours and spend a bit of food and drink. But was disappointed with the deposit to use the kids pay stuff. With the amount ppl spend it put a dampner on having to put a deposit to play with the toys

Check in at the bar
Was asked for my name the young lady behind the bar started to deal with me then the landlady said she do it but then went to serve someone else at the bar !!!! Then 10 minutes later when Check in told the young waiter to show me to my room !

Went down for the evening meal asked to sit in the restaurant but was told to sit in the bar area and remember my table number to order at the bar !!!
Once given my order I asked for a vat receipt and was told it was on the card receipt which it wasn't! So went back to ask for a till receipt then made to feel like I was putting them out by doing so !!!! When the food came out had no cutlery.
Didn't know that you had to get it yourself!
Food was good some excellent choices and good value.
Breakfast not included but could add if wanted
Location is in the middle of nowhere but a few nice walks about.
I wouldn't stay again because of the service received!

Great location for visiting RHS Hyde Hall and the area in general. Lots of parking and a very clean and spacious room. The pub and restaurant are really good too, with friendly staff and some great local real ales.

Great family-friendly location, loads of room for the kids to run around and play. Only complaint is that the service in the bar was very slow and you had to stand in a queue that nearly stretched out the door.

Sorry don't know about the rooms... but the food and service are brill ..go can't go wrong with the carvery..prices are good ..the female on the carvery likes a good laugh and giggle ...lovely clean place for a meal or few drinks

Stayed here for a family wedding recently. Great venue, service, rooms spot on, breakfast great. A little off the beaten track but can get taxis easily.
